Shlomo—beatbox vocal artist
Shlomo is one of the world’s finest human beatboxers: he makes music using just his mouth and a microphone. He’s a master of musical collaboration—equally comfortable jamming with superstars like Björk, Martha Wainwright, Damon Albarn, and Jarvis Cocker, community choirs, or inner city outreach projects. He’s currently Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre.
We designed a pioneering website for Shlomo, which launched in April 2008.

More content than a small corporation
Shlomo is a prominent representative of a new breed of artists that shun the record industry in favour of promoting their music themselves—often using the web.
We designed a site that uses information architecture to organise the incredible amount of content that Shlomo produces, including photos, news, events, links, blog posts, videos, MP3 tracks, and a podcast.
See for yourself
Check out the site at http://shlo.co.uk—be sure to listen to some music or watch a video, to get the full effect.
